Dutch Apple Cake

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Topping

  • 3 cups sliced Avonmore Berry Farm apples
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Method

Mix together dry ingredients, cut in butter and add beaten egg and milk. Spread batter in a greased 9″x 9″ cake pan. Arrange apples over batter. Mix together sugar, cinnamon and butter, spread over apples. Bake 350F for 30 minutes.
